The original Inova X5 manufactured from ???  till Spring of 2002

Featured a 5 LED array,  was turned on and off by rotating the front part of the body of the light that was threaded into the main housing body.  The main body of the light has grooves to make the light easier to grip and hold onto.

The Inova X5 Tactical manufactured from late Spring of 2002 till Late Fall of 2002

This new improved version of the X5 featured a tactical switch on the rear of the light along with a separate front housing for the 5 LED array.  A very nice improvement from the original.

The newest and current design of the Inova X4 Tactical manufactured from Winter 2002 till Current.

Only one change from the previous version.  Instead of grooves in the body of the light,  they have been replaced by 7 flat surfaces creating a "bolt" or "hexagonal" type body for the light.  This is another nice improvement in the evolution of the Inova X5!
